Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client based in Langport. They are looking for Forklift Operative to join a friendly team. Temp - Perm position to start as soon as possible.
Operating forklift to support production activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating forklift to maintain efficiency and food safety standards.
- Adhering to site Health and Safety regulations while operating the forklift.
- Keeping the yard and equipment organised and clean.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels in the yard.
- Recording product information accurately using the scale system.
- Properly disposing of materials as required.
- Safely loading trailers for transport.
- Effective communication with abattoir management and other staff members on site.
Knowledge and Experience: Essential:
- Valid forklift certification
- Basic computer skills
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
Desirable:
- Previous forklift experience
Schedule:
- Day shift-
- Monday to Friday
- 6am to Finish, with flexibility to meet business needs. Possibility of overtime as well.
Rate: £13.50 per hour
